Chris Ideni, a notable physician, is fleeing from Arazem, a nation at war with itself.

His old friend, Leroy Atemat, a mathematician and scientist, has come to help him reintegrate back into their home country, the Sethian Empire.

As wartime fades into the background, they both discover that there might be more to their relationship than they thought.

"Somewhere to Belong" is a short, romantic kinetic novelette best played in one sitting.

Set in the Almas Universe, it takes place almost 60 years before my other project, "My Date with Ak'keus". Post-release plans include a clickable lexicon of in-universe terms interspersed through dialogue, as well as general clean-up to code and dialogue.
